We chose this hotel primarily for its location right next to Centraal Station. The check-in process was quick, and I appreciated the friendly staff. Our family room had a spacious layout with a large bed and a bunk bed, perfect for us four adults. The room was clean and tidied up daily by the hardworking housekeeping team. However, the bathroom had minimal counter space, making it difficult to store our toiletries, and we struggled with luggage space due to the room's crowded layout. We also found the breakfast pricing at 17 euros each to be on the expensive side and opted to eat elsewhere. The noise from trains passing was minimal, which surprised us given our proximity to the station. For a budget hotel, it served our needs quite well, but improvements on room space and breakfast variety would enhance the overall experience.

For Families Seeking Comfort
The staff were genuinely warm and kind, especially with my little one, they really made us feel at home. Also, the location was unbeatable right beside the train station! Super handy for tired parents watching their kids enjoy the sights.
It wasn't inexpensive, but I can’t complain, considering the convenience.

great stay but room could use coffee maker
The location was absolutely fantastic making it easy to explore the city. I appreciated the very helpful staff who went out of their way to assist us during our stay.
The absence of tea/coffee making facilities in the room was a letdown.

The best part was the location, so close to central station! Perfect for exploring the city. Only downside was the shower being slippery. 😬

Convenient Location with Room for Improvement
Staying just steps from the train station was a game-changer for travel ease! The staff were friendly, and they quickly provided a kettle upon request. However, I found the breakfast collection process a bit awkward. For future guests, I recommend bringing your own snacks as options are limited.

I stayed in a Small Twin Room for 2 nights. The room was small but comfy enough for a short stay. The soundproofing was solid. I didn’t hear any train noise at all! The beds were okay, and the overall vibe was modern, which I liked. The view wasn’t bad either, looking out at the busy streets. Just a heads up though, don’t expect a lot of space.

I enjoyed my stay at Ibis Amsterdam. The location next to Central Station made exploring the city effortless. My room had comfy beds, although a bit tight on space. Breakfast choices could improve but starting the day in such a friendly atmosphere was great.
